About Vesterhus

Vesterhus is a small natural-wine bar on Istedgade, in the middle of Vesterbro. Exposed brick, candlelight on every table, a shelf of records and a big window onto the street. It’s the kind of neighbourhood room where a glass of wine easily turns into an evening — and where, more and more, there’s live music in the corner.

Vester Blues grew straight out of that: our own week of live music, hosted from the bar. We started it here — but the plan is to grow it across Vesterbro, one venue at a time, into a neighbourhood-wide blues week. We organise it, we pour the wine, and we open the doors — just show up.
